“Faith is a state of mind which I may develop at will, through repeated instructions to my subconscious mind through autosuggestion. This is the ONLY known method for voluntary development of the emotion of faith.” ~ Napoleon Hill

Thoughts become Things. Most of us are not aware of this until our eyes are opened by reading and masterminding Think and Grow Rich. And then we see that this has been going on all of our life. Not ALL of our thoughts become things… only those that have been given strong feelings, and mixed with faith.

Do you have a company and a system you believe in, but you’re not seeing the success you thought you would be seeing by now? Are you diligently and consistently following the best of everything you’ve been taught, but you’re still struggling? Are you working on personal growth, but you’re not seeing the changes you want? You see others doing the same things, with huge success. Why not you? Continue reading »

A while ago I drew a comparison between apple pies and MLM. An apple pie needs 5 things for it turn out well – pie plate, pie crust, apples, sugar and spices, and an oven to bake it in.

In MLM, the 5 Pillars are what a company needs to have in place for the distributors to succeed. A company may have the greatest products and the best pay plan on the planet, but if it is lacking any of the 5 Pillars, you could lose EVERYTHING overnight. Your income and reputation are at stake.

If you are looking for a company to join or simply want to evaluate the company you are already with, the 5 Pillars technology outlines a simple method to measure any company. Continue reading »

Napoleon Hill says all who succeed in life get off to a bad start, and pass through many heartbreaking struggles before they “arrive.” The turning point in the lives of those who succeed usually comes at the moment of some crisis, through which they are introduced to their “other selves.”

THOUGHTS ARE THINGS

3-YEAR-OLD DOLL.

I wanted one in the worst way when I was 7. Trouble is, that was the year my father died, so money was scarce. Then one wonderful day I found a $20 bill someone dropped in the parking lot, aka our playground, behind Cordaro’s Apts where we lived. Mom tried without success to find out who had lost the money, and she was told she could keep it… and on Christmas morning, I had my doll! These dolls were life-sized, 35 inches tall, and came in a variety of hair and eye colours. Mine had dark hair and eyes “just like mine”.

THE FARM.

I’d spent a delightful weekend with my friend Wendy at their farm an hour away from home, and I wanted so badly to go back. Her mom had promised me another week later in the summer, but week after week went by with no call from Wendy’s mom. I wanted it so badly I could see it, feel it, hear it, even TASTE it. I ate it, slept it, dreamed about it day and night. And then, just when I had all but given up hope, the call came! Not what I expected… it wasn’t just me this time, but my whole family who went… but it was a few days at the farm! Continue reading »
